�Mutya,� the newest series to join the primetime race, swam its way to a strong debut as it garnered a 32.6% national rating according to Kantar Media last Monday, January 31.
Beating the rival network�s show who only earned a 19.6% national rating, �Mutya� landed on the second spot of the top 20 programs with its pilot episode.
The whole cast, staff and crew celebrated the success of their show�s premiere right after learning the good news via a thanksgiving party. Directors Erick Salud and Jojo Saguin are very happy with how the viewers embraced their first episode. �Masaya siyempre. All the preparations for the pilot ay naging worth it,� Direk Erick expressed. �This serves as a push for us, the whole team, to do better sa mga susunod na episodes,� Direk Jojo said.
Meanwhile, for those who missed the pilot episode of the newest primetime delight, no need to worry for a �Mutya� marathon will happen this Saturday after E-Live, 4pm to 5:45pm.
