Paper Audi A7
Graphic design artist Taras Lesko designed 750 model pieces out of card stock using 285 pieces of paper. He then printed, folded and glued together. Using just a laser printer, two desktop cutting plotters, glue and an X-ACTO knife, in about 245 hours, he had made a car.

BMW 328 Hommage
Created for the 328's 75th birthday, the Hommage is an open-top terror, with a retro meets Mad Max design formed from carbon fiber-reinforced plastic that brings the weight down to 1,720 pounds, and a 3.0L six-cylinder engine that's bound to send the tires blazing.

2011 Volkswagen XL1 Concept
Volkswagen unveiled the third and latest iteration of its two-seater diesel-electric hybrid concept series, the new XL1 Super Efficient Vehicle (SEV). Powering by the carbon fiber shell is a plug-in diesel hybrid powertrain, using a 2-cylinder TDI motor with 48-hp, mated to a 27-hp electric motor and using a 7-speed dual clutch gearbox.
