Yes, the Duchess of Cambridge Kate Middleton and her husband Duke of Cambridge Prince William will make an official visit to California from July 8 through July 11. YahooNews: Al-Qaeda fight not over with Osama bin Laden's death according to US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton.
"Let us not forget that the battle to stop Al-Qaeda and its affiliates does not end with one death. We have to renew our resolve," Clinton said at a joint press conference with Italian Foreign Minister Franco Frattini.
"The death of bin Laden deals a significant strategic blow to Al-Qaeda," she said, adding: "His ideology of hatred and violence is thankfully being rejected in what we see going on in the Middle East and Africa."
"Our resolve is even stronger following bin Laden's death because we know it will have an impact on those who are in the battlefield in Afghanistan."
She described the 38 minute duration of the operation to kill bin Laden, which she followed in real time alongside President Barack Obama and other Senior Officials at the White House, were "the most intense" of her life.
BleacherReport: Rashard Mendenhall releases a clarification about his out of touch remarks that he posted on his twitter account (@R_Mendenhall) last Sunday night that caught the eye, and ire, of the entire nation.
What kind of person celebrates death? It's amazing how people can HATE a man they have never even heard speak. We've only heard one side..."
On Wednesday, Mendenhall drop his pride and released a statement on his BLOG. Here are some snippets taken directly from the blog:
First, I want people to understand that I am not in support of Bin Laden, or against the USA. I understand how devastating 9/11 was to this country and to the people whose families were affected. Not just in the US, but families all over the world who had relatives in the World Trade Centers. My heart goes out to the troops who fight for our freedoms everyday
This controversial statement was something I said in response to the amount of joy I saw in the event of a murder. I dont believe that this is an issue of politics or American pride; but one of religion, morality, and human ethics."
PGA: Every sport needs a villain.
Every sport needs a real jerk.
Say hello to Rory Sabbatini.
Rory Sabbatini takes his rightful place as the PGA Tour's jerk. Now, Sabbatini could face suspension from the PGA Tour for having a what was described as a profanity-laced argument with Sean OHair during last weeks Zurich Classic in New Orleans.
It was not clear what triggered the argument between Sabbatini and OHair but two other players who were near Sabbatinis group in New Orleans said the argument became so heated that Steve Lucas - OHairs father-in-law and caddie - stepped in to keep the dispute from getting physical.
According to multiple players and officials, it was the second time this year that Sabbatini has run into trouble because of his behavior on the golf course. The first incident was at Riviera in the Northern Trust Open, where Sabbatini was said to have spoken harshly to a teenage volunteer who was trying to help him find a lost ball.

"I had a dress all designed [for this wedding] and when it showed up it was not [right]. I was so sad, I was actually kind of in tears...I was cleaning out my garage and all of a sudden this box showed up in this pile of stuff ...and it was this dress and it was five days ago. I'm not kidding. Isn't that crazy?"
She and Craig first split up in 1985.
TV Guide: Nicollette Sheridan's wrongful termination lawsuit against Desperate Housewives creator Marc Cherry and ABC has been cleared for trial.
In April 2010, the 47-year-old actress filed a $20 million lawsuit claiming she was fired from the ABC show after she tried to complain about being slapped by Cherry, and because she is a woman.
"It's clear to the court that this is something that needs to go to a jury," Los Angeles Superior Court Judge Elizabeth Allen White said Tuesday after hearing both sides of the argument.
The case is set to go to trial June 8.
