Senator Manny Villar's daughter, Camille Villar, is being eyed by TV5 to become one of the hosts of the first Asian version of Extreme Makeover: Home Edition.
Although the offer is very tempting and the concept of the show is similarly related to their family business, Camille is still undecided whether she'll take on the project or not. And even if she does, she would have to secure the Senator's approval as she holds an executive position in one of the family's real estate companies.
As of this writing, the two other hosts who are sure to be part of the reality show are Paolo Bediones and socialite Tessa Prieto-Valdez.
Exteme Makeover: Home Edition is one of the most successful and talked-about reality TV shows by Endemol (also the producer of Big Brother). The show, which is already on its 8th season this year, is being broadcast in 185 countries including the USA.
TV5 will run 12 episodes of Extreme Makeover: Home Edition and will be aired as a monthly special.
Atty. Ray C. Espinosa, TV5 President and CEO, welcomes the reality show that will have its pilot episode soon.
"The launch of 'Extreme Makeover: Home Edition' on TV5 is set to be a great television event in the Philippines. The Filipino viewers are bound to be hooked to the true-to-life human drama that will unfold in the much-awaited local version of the worldwide hit series," Atty. Espinosa said.
