Magkakapatid is one of the 9 full-length films competing in the New Breed of Filmmakers category of the 6th Cinemalaya. The said film festival will run from July 9-18, 2010 at the Cultural Center of the Philippines.
Magkakapatid is a story about a family that drifted apart due to socio-economic differences. Three siblings, three narratives, one tragedy, wherein a brother kills his own brother, a father struggles to accept a daughter�s marriage, and a daughter who could not mourn. In a situation where even traditions can�t pull them together, a tragedy drags them together.

In this film, Voizboys member Nico Antonio plays the son of Ces Quesada. He has a split-personality disorder and he portrays two identities called Caloy and Cardo.
Magkakapatid also stars Raquel Villavicencio, Julio Diaz, Mercedes Cabral and Kathlyn Castillo as the daughters of the character of Julio. Banaue Miclat is also cast as the daughter of Raquel Villavicencio.
