Actress turned recording artist Gretchen Barretto was given a pleasant birthday surprise when her sisters Marjorie and Claudine serenaded her during the ASAP �08 episode aired earlier today, March 9. The eldest of the Barretto sisters will celebrate her 38th birthday on March 17.
The presence of Gretchen's sisters emphasized the fact that they all have reconciled and left all their quarrels in the past. In fact, after the three of them sang "Points of View," Claudine told her sister, "Happy birthday and you have no choice but to have us back in your life."
To this, La Greta answered gratefully, "I love it that I have no choice."
Marjorie also greeted Gretchen and said to her, "I love you." Earlier, in a taped interview with the councilor of Caloocan, she pointed out that Gretchen is "very dependable" and that she has a way of lifting you up when you're down. "I'm glad to have you back in my life," said Marjorie in her birthday message for Gretchen, who had a three-year rift with her younger sisters.
